I begin my attempt at remembering to be thankful with the thing I am most thankful for in this life.
My husband.
5 years ago yesterday, he asked me to be his girlfriend at Jeremy Sherry's New Year's Eve party. Even before that night, in our short time "dating", he had proven to be a great friend and a gentleman.
He is one person of a very select few who actually kind of "get" me.
Last year around this time, I was pretty sick and he put away all of the Christmas decorations because it was stressing me out.
He's not perfect, but neither am I, and I couldn't ask for a better guy to share life with.
Thanks, Aaron. You're the best (stamped).
